Believe it or not, you can train a cat. We see trained cats each time we see a cat in a T.V. show, in a commercial or in a movie. Depending on the personality of the cat, a cat can be taught to walk in certain areas, sit, and even wave. The key to training your cat is figuring out what will motivate your cat…usually some extra special food treat.

By being consistent with the play time you spend with your cat on a daily basis, you can train your cat to be more relaxed and calm during the night. Interactive playing with your cat each morning and each evening will help your cat use up his energy in an appropriate manner, not in the middle of the night when you are trying to sleep.
