Animal Kids Camp is our day camp for kids who love animals. We offer camp in the summer and during the local winter and spring breaks. If your kids want to spend time with animals and learn even more about them, this camp is for them!
Spend hands-on time with our pet adoption center cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens. Learn fun and new facts about our animals. Participate in animal-themed crafts, activities, and games. Hear from fantastic guest speakers who work with animals. Make new friends who love what you love – the animals, of course!
Week 1 (June 5-9): Vet Tech: If your student loves pets and wants a future career in animal care, this is the week for them! Come learn about different animals, tools vets use, and even see surgery.
Week 2 (June 12-16): Scales and Tails: Come and learn all about different animals and what makes them unique! Whether it is a snake, dog, or turtle there are so many pets to experience and learn about!
Week 3 (June 19-23): Things that Creep and Crawl: Creepy crawlies might be something some of us fear, but once we take the time to understand these insects and animals, we can face those fears and get fascinated by them!
Week 4 (June 26-30): Working Pets: What does it mean when someone says they have a working dog? Do other pets work? What kinds of jobs can a pet have? Come join us this week when we meet all kinds of working animals and see what they do!
