At Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center, we work directly with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services), a reputable nonprofit organization dedicated to exceptional customer service and expanding the value of your car donation.
Making a vehicle donation is easy!
- Donate your vehicle by calling 855-500-RIDE (7433) or fill out a donation form on our website and we will handle everything from pickup to paperwork.
- We will tow your vehicle at no cost to you.
- Once your vehicle is sold, the proceeds will be donated to Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center in your name and a receipt will be sent to you for your taxes.

Q: What are the advantages of donating my vehicle?
A: Your vehicle is tax-deductible and will provide second chances to homeless pets.
Q: Does my vehicle need to be in running condition?
A: Nope! It does not even have to be smog-tested or registered. As long as you have the vehicle's title and the engine is intact we are happy to accept it!
Q: Can you pick up my vehicle?
A: Yes! Our vehicle donation partner services the entire Southern California region and will provide free towing from any location. Typically pick-up can be arranged within 48 hours of your call.
Q: Do you take care of the DMV paperwork?
A: Absolutely! All DMV paperwork is processed on your behalf by our partner organization, even if the paperwork is incomplete, missing or expired.
Q: Do you accept other types of vehicles besides cars?
A: Yes! Our program is open to trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, jet skis, tractors, and even airplanes. RVs and boats may have certain criteria.
